This time I will be reviewing 2014's Good People. It stars Kate Hudson and James Franco as a couple of people. However, each one only plays one of the people. The story centers around them looking for a fresh start, so they move to an American speaking country in Europe. James likes to fix houses while Kate watches soap operas. They soon have money troubles, but out of no where they get a lot of money.
So, Should I See It, or say, Good Riddance People!
This is a See It all the way. Luckily the couple of cool people rent their basement to a drug guy with lots of money. I didn't like that character so it was good when he was found dead. James finds like, a ton, of money from this guy and it makes him feel good. Kate, now in the shower, is all “I'm not so sure". There was some detective who was being a dick about the whole situation so I could of been okay with less of him. But what really makes it interesting is when these tough boys show up to get the money back. You see it was for drugs and drug dealers. But James and Kate really need it to buy a baby. Eventually it gets solved with gunplay instead of boring dialogue. It was nice to see big stars do a small movie as a favor to Gary. Good People - good movie.
